Veneering an old fireplace with stone cladding

The large original fireplace, which was in a poor state of repair and originally consisted of simple jambs and a wooden lintel, has been transformed thanks to a stone cladding produced in our workshop and installed by us.

The stone elements have been worked (mouldings, curves) and then aged and given a patina so that they blend in well with this old house.
The lintel with its moulded cornice, the curved corbels, the stone plinth and the large dimensions of the whole (around 3 m wide x 2 m high) make this a majestic and refined mantel.
