Wall fountain with pediment decorated with a mascaron

This large garden fountain was custom-made in aged and patinated natural limestone, with a curved basin. Its pediment is decorated with a hand-carved mascaron, and its colour harmonizes with the architectural atmosphere of the place.

Set against the wall, the ashlar fountain is installed in a masonry niche. The sculpted mascaron representing an antique-style face hides the water outlet, and is framed by engraved and sculpted ornaments: pilasters and flutes, a moulded cornice, and an upper cornice in the shape of a gendarme hat.

The fountain, whose stone has been aged and patinated, fits in well with this property where local stone and natural materials coexist amidst beautiful vegetation.
