Renovation of the Saint Jean fountain
in Avensac (Gers)
Project genesis
The stone elements of this devotional fountain had been accidentally broken.
In close collaboration with a masonry company, we put our expertise at the service of this 19th century stone religious architecture: repair of the broken elements by dowelling and gluing, replacement of an octagonal sculpted pinnacle, all with an ageing and patina of the stone on the spot, so that the whole is coherent with the existing building.
